Ill. Brown was raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason in 1946

in Crescent Bay Lodge No. 19. He was the first Commander-in-Chief of

Santa Monica Consistory (1960), in that same year, he received the 33°,

 appointed Deputy in November of 1976 and elevated to SGIG in 1979.
